Family park ride a sunny day out celebrating physical activity
We were blessed with sunny weather for our ‘Spot & Cycle’ family ride through Burndap Park on Sunday 11 August!
Over 60 participants joined the fun, following a map around Burndap Lake in Maribyrnong, to discover local fauna and landmarks. As a reward for completing the trail, families enjoyed a cupcake!
It was great to see so many folks on their bikes, and enjoying the sun!
Thanks also to Maribyrnong City Council for supporting this event as part of Active Maribyrnong‘s Winter Warrior series, the West Gate Tunnel Project for their funding of active transport events at the Community Bike Hub, and Community Bank Seddon for their marquee and promotional support.
