We offer a range of servicing and repair options – from wheel building to general servicing, and parts replacements. It takes 1 to 3 business days to complete most services or repairs. If the job is more complex or it’s a little busier than we expected, we’ll let you know.

  • Chain replacement.
  • We measure and ensure the chain is the right length.

  • We stock a wide range of chains – from single-speed chains, all the way up to 11-speed chains.
  • Chains prices start from $20.

Cup and cone style hubs

  • disassembly of hub
  • cleaning
  • regreasing
  • new cones and ball bearings if needed

Sealed Bearing Hub

  • remove old bearings
  • cleaning
  • press in new bearings

Notes

We use name brand bearings such as NSK, NBR and Enduro.

What it includes

  • Safety check which includes making sure all bolts are tight and adjusted correctly
  • Hub assessment and adjustment
  • Headset, bottom bracket, bracket bearings tuning
  • True of wheels if they’re slightly off-centre
  • Pump up of tyres to optimal pressure
  • Lubricate gears and brake cables
  • Tune of gears and brakes
  • Quick clean of frame and fork

Notes

  • We can wash and clean your bike for an additional cost of $20.

eBikes may incur an extra cost as it requires extra work to replace a tube.

What it includes

  • New tube and fitting

Notes

  • We can often replace tubes on electric scooters as well. Though this will cost approximately $40 as it’s a 2-person job.
  • We stock most sizes of inner tubes from 12” to 29”.
  • We also stock puncture-resistant tyres in 26” and 700c.

Parts not included in price

What it includes

  • Install of tubeless tyres

Notes

Tubeless tyre installations need a:

  • tubeless-ready rim
  • tubeless rim tape
  • tubeless valves
  • sealant.

If you don’t have these handy, we always keep stock for any tubeless builds.

What it includes

  • Build of wheels

Notes

  • We can usually offer a special price for building up your wheels. This is about $100 and includes the cost of spokes, as well as labour.
  • We can also get butted spokes such as Pillar double butted and DT Swiss competition for $2.50 each.

What it includes

  • Labour for wheel truing and spoke replacement 

Notes

  • If any of your spokes need to be replaced, this will cost an additional $2 per spoke.
  • If there are more than 2 broken spokes or your spokes continue to break, we might suggest rebuilding your wheel instead.
