Second-Hand Bikes in West Footscray, Refurbished and Ready to Ride
Every bike on our shop floor is getting a second life. Bikes are donated to us by the community, then our qualified mechanics strip them back, replace worn parts and safety check them before they’re ready for their next rider. You get a quality bike at a fair price, and one less bike ends up in landfill.

Why buy a refurbished bike from us?
It’s been checked by a mechanic, not just cleaned up. Buying used online can be a gamble. Our bikes have been through our workshop, so you know the brakes, gears and wheels are doing their job.
We’ll make sure it fits. We help you choose the right frame size, then set the seat and handlebars before you ride away.
We’re here after you buy. If something isn’t right, bring it back to us.
It’s better for the planet. A refurbished bike reuses a frame and parts that are already made, and keeps a good bike out of landfill.
It’s better for the west. We’re a not-for-profit social enterprise. Every bike sold helps us donate bikes to people who need them and teach bike skills across Melbourne’s west.
What we do to every bike
Before a bike goes on sale, our mechanics:
- Inspect the frame and forks for cracks or damage
- Adjust or replace brakes, pads and cables
- Tune the gears and clean or replace the chain
- True the wheels and replace tyres and tubes where needed
- Check and adjust the hubs, headset and bottom bracket
- Give it a clean and a final test ride
We have bikes for every rider:
Kids’ bikes. From first pedal bikes to bigger bikes for growing riders. Great value when they’ll outgrow it in a year or two.
Commuter and hybrid bikes. Comfortable, reliable bikes for getting to work, uni or the shops.
Mountain bikes. Tough bikes for trails, gravel paths and rough roads.
Road bikes. Lighter, faster bikes for fitness and longer rides.

Parts and accessories
We stock a broad range of new and used parts, so you can keep your bike running without paying full price:
- Drivetrain: cassettes, chains, bottom brackets and cranks
- Brakes: calipers, pads, levers, cables and housing
- Steering: forks, handlebars, stems and headsets
- Wheels and hubs
- Saddles and seatposts
- Tubes and tyres
And everything you need to ride safely and comfortably: helmets, locks, lights, racks, baskets, mudguards, bells, bottle cages, floor pumps, chain lube, and tools and repair kits.
