Our impact

Man cycling along Torquay shore

Environmental impact

Repairing and reusing old bikes has plenty of environmental benefits.

Bikes that would otherwise go to landfill are repaired through our volunteer program and donated to people in need.

Cycling is also a pollutant-free mode of transport and reduces the need for resource-intensive modes of transport such as driving.

Social impact

Our Moreland store simultaneously services the community and supports the rest of our operations.

Our education program teaches basic bike mechanic skills to over 300 Footscray High students per year, teaching them practical hands on skills, encouraging problem solving and keeping them engaged in education while encouraging to cycle and contribute to sustainable practices.

Our Volunteer program encourages community connection, adult learning and also facilitates the donation of bicycles to refugees & asylum seekers.
