We offer a wide variety of refurbished bikes for sale. Ranging from kids bikes through to adult mountain, commuting and road bikes.

Stop by the Community Bike Hub for help with finding a bike to fit your cycling needs.

All profits from the sales of our bikes go towards our volunteer and bike education programs.

Running every Sunday, the Community Bike Hub volunteer program is an inclusive and welcoming program designed to build community connections, facilitate community contribution to our bike donation program and to share knowledge. At the volunteer program, volunteers will work on bikes for donation while making new friends and learning new skills.

Without your support, the mission of the Community Bike could not be achieved and we are forever grateful for the ongoing support we receive.

Footscray-Roubaix. The Famous French bike race comes to Footscray Sunday, March 2. Come join in the fun, registration is free.

“....explore the Footscray area's cobbled back lanes and see bits of the area you’re not used too,” Said Elwyn Davies, Footscray-Roubaix founder and organiser.

This event doubles as a fundraiser for the Footscray based Asylum Seeker Resource Centre @asrc1 “The idea is that people will make a donation as they see fit on the day or afterwards because we feel the work they (ASRC) do is valuable.” Said Elwyn Davies

At the Community Bike Hub we achieve our mission to reduce barriers to cycling in a number of ways.

At our Barkly St shop we provide bike services and second hand parts which in turn supports the rest of our operations.

Our Volunteer program encourages community connection, adult learning and also facilitates the donation of bicycles to refugees & asylum seekers.

Our education program teaches basic bike mechanic skills to over 300 Footscray High students per year, teaching them practical hands-on skills, encouraging problem solving and keeping them engaged in education while encouraging them to cycle and contribute to sustainable practices.
