Donate

Donations are vital for us achieving our mission, and for that we need you!

By donating your bicycle or parts and accessories you not only save them from going to landfill, they will also be refurbished for donation to reugees, asylum seekers & people in need.

If you have a larger quantity of items to donate, or you are a business wanting to find out how you can support us, email volunteers@communitybikehub.com.au

Where to donate

You can donate items to our Volunteer Hub or The Community Bike Hub during business hours. The Community Bike Hub at 608 Barkly st is able to take donations on Saturdays 10am-3pm

What you can donate

Bikes

If your kids have outgrown their bikes, you’ve recently upgraded and you’re not sure what to do with your old bike or you simply have too many bikes and not enough space (believe us we can relate), bring them down to the Community Bike Hub. They’ll be refurbished and donated or sold to support our mission.

Parts and accessories

Have you upgraded the rack or basket on your bike? Or have some leftover parts from a build? Save them from landfill and donate instead.

We accept old derailleurs, baskets, racks, wheels, part-built bikes, headsets, bottom brackets and more.

Bike tools

Our volunteers can always do with some more tools to fix donated bikes – from spanners to bike stands, cable cutters and anything inbetween. If you’ve got any tools you no longer need, donate them and they’ll be put to good use at our Volunteer Hub.
