The Community Bike Hub had the special opportunity to showcase the tangible impact of the Community Bike Hub to the Bendigo Bank board as they toured our Mills Close site on February 28.

The group learnt about the scale of our donations and recycling activities, the Bike Hub’s place in the wider circular economy, and they met some of the students in the education program with Footscray High School. Local Impact CEO and Chair of the Community Bike Hub Committee, Andy Moutray Read thanked the team from Bendigo Bank for being so generous with their time and questions for the students and facilitators at the Bike Hub.

Program facilitators Dom and AJ assisted Andy in discussing the operations of the Bike Hub, with the support of volunteers Neil and Tony, and Inner West Community Enterprises Chair Sarah Franklyn, along with Community Bank Seddon team members Ash, Suzanne and Stuart who joined the tour and presentation to help illustrate our environmental and social impacts
