Brimbank Traffic School

All Abilities Bike Track and Adult Trikes in Melbourne’s West

Brimbank Traffic School in Keilor Downs is a purpose-built bike track where people of all abilities can ride safely, at their own pace, with the whole track to themselves. Run by Community Bike Hub, a not-for-profit social enterprise in Melbourne’s west, our sessions give NDIS participants a fun, active way to build confidence, fitness and independence.

Wednesday open session for individuals

No group? No problem. Our open session runs every Wednesday from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Just turn up with your support worker, $25 per participant, paid on the day by card or cash. No booking needed.

What to expect

Sessions are self-directed, so participants ride however suits them best, whether that’s a few slow laps or a full two hours on the track. Each participant attends with their support worker, at the ratio set by their agency. The track has road signs, crossings and roundabouts, which makes it a great place to practise real-world road skills away from traffic.

Light rain won’t stop us, and if the weather turns, there’s indoor space to wait it out.

Using your NDIS funding

Community Bike Hub is not a registered NDIS provider. Self-managed and plan-managed participants may be able to use their funding for our sessions. Please check with your plan manager, support coordinator or provider about what your plan covers.
